First Look Inside The New BMW X6 Facelift

In the X6 facelift, BMW is focusing on the interior first. The most obvious changes are the new curved displays for the digital instrument cluster and infotainment system, which appear to be inspired by the iX flagship electric SUV. In the iX, the digital display measures 12.3 inches and the infotainment display is 14.9 inches wide.

2023 BMW 7 Series Spy Shots

BMW is working on a redesign for its 7-Series, and new prototypes have been spotted. The seventh-generation flagship is expected to debut in 2022 as a 2023 model. Underpinning the redesigned 7-Series will be an updated version of the current generation’s CLAR platform designed to support multiple powertrain types, including battery-electric powertrains, as we’ll see in the i7.

Big Changes Coming To New BMW X7

With new headlights positioned lower, even wider kidney grilles, and a redesigned hood, the X7 prototype strongly resembles the refreshed 7 Series, so it looks like BMW is applying these updates to keep the designs looking consistent. At the back, the changes are less significant, however. Expect the rear to receive the standard facelift treatment, with minor changes applied to the bumper and updated taillight graphics.

2022 BMW iX Spotted In Colorado

When BMW introduced the 2022 iX in November, they noted the crossover was “still in the series development phase.” As a result, it’s not surprising that a couple of prototypes were recently spotted in Colorado by Carscoops reader Brett. The model is roughly the same size as the X5, but it features an aerodynamic exterior with a drag coefficient of 0.25. Designers also gave the crossover frameless windows and 20-inch aerodynamically optimized wheels.

BMW M2 Competition Drag Races Toyota Yaris GR

For a dragster you usually need ‘many horsepowers’ as Clarkson would put it, but the little Toyota has just a 1.6 liter engine under the hood making a whopping 272 horsepower. At the same time, the BMW M2 Competition is not exactly perfect for this scenario either. Even though you can get it with an automatic seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox, you’re still stuck with a rear-wheel drive setup and putting down the 410 horsepower the engine makes is a bit tricky.

Tested: 2020 BMW M2 CS Hangs In There

The M2 CS is a limited-edition, high-powered version of the M2, which is itself the hot version of the 2-series coupe. The CS pushes ahead after hitting 60 mph in 3.9 seconds, and it passes through the quarter in 12.1 seconds at 120 mph, two-tenths of a second quicker and 4 mph faster than the stick-shift M2 Comp. Optional matte-gold wheels shod with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 track rubber are part of the CS makeover.

He also goes into a lot more detail, so make sure to check out the video below to see how the character of the M5 Competition changes depending on these settings.

Video: ALPINA XB7 Compared Against Mercedes-AMG GLS 63

Ever since the BMW X7 was unveiled, a lot of the fans of the Bavarian brand wondered whether we’ll get to see an M version also. That’s also because ALPINA picked things up where the X7 M50i left them and created the XB7, 7-seat monster with over 600 HP and the performance figures to make your jaw drop.

VIDEO: Check Out The Iconic BMW M1

Even someone like myself, who’s privileged enough to have access to a lot of BMWs that most enthusiasts don’t get, the M1 is nearly impossible to get close to. So this new video from EAG is a real treat, as you not only get a close look inside it, but also get to go along for the ride.

It’s the most powerful production BMW engine in history, just passing the McLaren F1, with its naturally-aspirated V12.
